Carpal Tunnel Syndrome: CAM Therapies for Specific Conditions

• In a 1990 study, all but one of thirty-six acupuncture patients attained excellent pain relief from carpal tunnel syndrome, which is a kind of chronic pain in the hands associated with repetitive motion. In a follow-up study, twenty-four patients showed 2.5 to 8.5 years of pain relief.
