M?ni?reOs Disease: CAM Therapies for Specific Conditions
- Acupuncture is sometimes used to treat M?ni?reOs disease, which consists of tinnitus or ringing in the ears, accompanied by vertigo, nausea, and vomiting. Attacks can last from a few hours up to 24 hours or more. Usually only one ear is affected. This disease is on the list released by the World Health Organization (WHO) of the 104 conditions that are most often treated effectively with acupuncture.
